The core business of ModelPlus.ai is developing AI-driven solutions that simplify and accelerate the deployment of machine learning models for real-world applications. We started ModelPlus as a journey to revolutionize vision intelligence applications with the latest AI technologies. Our goal is to build the most autonomous, accurate and extensible software that accelerates insight and action generation from video as primary source and natural language as its user interface. We take a two staged bottom-up approach rather than attempting to perfect all aspects at once. First, we create a general data-action pipeline where every step is extensible and promptable, with which one can develop integrated solutions with simple configuration and without manual coding. Then as the next step, we leverage generative AI to build an alignment mechanism that brings this pipeline to specific domains, resulting in autonomous trustable insight creation guided by human language. The second stage depends on the outcome of the first stage, and we believe this dependency guarantees that we can build trackable and verifiable behaviors for agent-like system components, which is crucial to train and align the autonomous product correctly to an application domain.

Following this approach, we will end up building a compound AI system rather than a black-box super model. Although a compound system could seem less attractive to the users, this is intended, and we believe the rationale behind it is valid. While closely following the exciting journey of multi-modal models that can comprehend short videos, we believe one omnipotent model is not suitable for mission critical use cases for multiple crucial reasons. On the other hand, compound engineering systems crafted carefully can provide superior cost-efficiency, simple user interface and extensibility.

Our solution is built with a strong commitment to safety and ethical AI usage at its core.
